- Please pray for Don & Karen Stauffer on their mission trip in Uganda, finishing up eye clinics and outreach in Gulu , and travelling on to the village of Kitgum for more eye clinics and outreach. Pray for encouragement and strength for Don & Karen, as the wet season is very draining and hot, pray that many hear the gospel and change their lives. They have a bag of glasses that cannot be located, please pray they are found and that people become saved in these areas through this ministry.
- Pray for our 90th Anniversary Celebrations: the banquet evening with guests Dave Siverns and Dr. Bill Allan; for an encouraging time of celebration; and for our special Sunday Morning Anniversary Service with all those participating, and for our guest speaker Dr. Bill Allan--pray that we will be emboldened in our ministry and witness as a church!
- Suzanne Neudorf is grateful for our prayers as she had her pacemaker/defibrillator placement surgery last Monday. The surgery went well and recovery is going very well.
- Please pray for Sarah and her Husband (connected to GGC through Family ministry), who are expecting a baby and are praying for a safe and healthy arrival.
- Paulette Quesnel's 84 year old mother, Ida Quesnel, lives near Sudbury but will be moving down to Niagara Falls in a few weeks. She is sick in bed, and with the move coming , Paulette requests prayer for God's healing touch on her.
- Pray for Doreen Menard in this time of adjustment with the passing of her husband, George.
- Our missionary, Daniel Simon, still recovering from thyroid cancer surgery, and having traveled across the country of Brazil to now settle with his family in the northeast, Parnaiba, to commence providing leadership to the 14-missionary team in the remote delta area.
- Please pray for Marcio & Damaris Garcia's son-in-law Diogo who had a second chemotherapy session for lymphoma, and like the last round he had problems with infection, fever, and is hospitalized.
- Pray for Christian believers in Toronto who hosted a Will Graham, Night of Hope on Sept 12th at Church on the Queensway. An update from Pastor Daniel Winter from our sister-church in downtown Toronto: Please thank your church for their prayers! God’s Spirit led dozens of people to respond to the Gospel on Friday night! (And another 24 earlier in the week in Whitby.) I personally had the joy of speaking with a mom and her grade five daughter Mikaela, who prayed to invite Jesus into her life. It was so precious. Her mom was in tears of joy over her daughter's excitement to meet Jesus. Another one of our counselors praised the Lord for a mom and young adult daughter who came forward at the invitation. Both of them had never received Christ before. We have five people for Calvary Church to follow up on!
- Pray for Wanda Perrier's friend, Sean (46 yrs), who suffered a stroke last month. He is recovering well and now at Shaver Hospital. Thanks for praying!
- Thank you for your continued prayers for Valerie and Brian Gallant as they navigate this diagnosis, and may God continue to heal and strengthen them.
- Jaimie Bilodeau thanks us for praying; her thyroid is under control now with medication.
- Please pray for God's wisdom, strength and joy for each of:

- Pray for the Washroom renovation project which is now under way; pray that the construction will go well and in a timely manner.
- Pray for God's peace for Lorna Johansen (Chapel Heights), Ron Myers (Lundy Manor), Vi Warden (Cavendish), Elaine Short (Oakwood Park Lodge), Jean Johnston (Bella), Alex Kaye (Chapel Heights), Tom Goode (Linhaven/Henley House), Vera Harnden (Simcoe), Esther Rosa (Meadows), Betty Enns (Meadows of Dorchester), Bethene Fretz (Maple Park Lodge), Doreen Menard (Elgin Falls), Mary Franco (Queenston Place), Marj Kershaw (Queenston Place), and Bill Howie (Bella) in their care at Senior Homes, and for others like Ellen Kerr and Sandy Cooper who are mostly homebound.
- Please continue praying for overall church ministry, for ministry leaders, life group leaders, discipleship triads, children and youth ministry teams, outreaches and of course, our regular Sunday morning ministries in worship services and Sunday School..., for our responsiveness to God's Word both personally and in group studies. Pray that we will be steadfast in standing on the truth, and be life-giving in our witness to those who need Jesus!
- Cover our regular ministries at Cavendish Manor, Oakwood Lodge, Niagara Long-Term Care (NOTL), Bella Retirement Home, River Road Retirement Home, Willoughby Manor and now Elgin Falls with prayer! Pray for God's strength and wisdom as we bring encouragement through song and studies from God's Word to these senior residents.

Thanks for praying! Please include these in your personal, small group, and ministry team prayer times. Also, there is a weekly women's prayer time at the church, Mondays at 1:00 PM...all women are welcome. And, you are welcome to join our pre-service prayer time each Sunday morning at 9:20 AM in the Family Room, praying specifically for God's work among us and in the lives of those not yet saved.
