The congregation is very active in supporting an ongoing Missionary program through our church, both through prayer and through regular financial investment. Mission giving comprises about 20% of the churches annual giving in support of our missionary families as well as the work of global missions.
The Missions committee exists for the purpose of creating interest in supporting and praying for missionaries who are endeavoring to fulfill the Great Commission around the world. In the Amazon, Oscar & Mariles are missionaries who distributed bibles, books, and 1000 of Heavenly Cards (It's a chip for the cellphone containing the audio of the Bible, 500 hymns, radio programs of HCJB Brazil for men, women and children). Oscar & Mariles Initiated a pioneer work in the Amazon, with the Riverside folk of Purus. Oscar is also the Expansion Coordinator.
