Who is Jesus? Teacher, miracle worker, friend of sinners; one who reportedly died on the cross and miraculously rose again; a figure of history, worshiped as a figurehead of the Christian church. He is all those things, but so much more. Among the four Gospel writers, John presents to us the Jesus who is God, pre-existent, coexistent, self existent, who came in human flesh so that we might as fully as possible see God.
Our journey through John’s Gospel will help us to see Jesus–not the Jesus we think He is, or that we want Him to be, but the real Jesus, the authentic, Biblical Jesus. Further, that in seeing Him we may believe in Him, and that by believing we may experience the full life He intends for those who believe.
