Our Community Ministries

DivorceCare: Winter session on now (Tuesdays 6:30 – 8:30pm)

The goal of DivorceCare is to help those hurting from divorce and separation to discover hope for the future and experience God’s healing. It is a small group atmosphere covering many topics such as Facing Depression, New Relationships, Financial Survival, Forgiveness, Reconciliation and many more.

DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K)(On Hold)

This ministry is specifically designed for children ages 5-12 of separated or divorced parents and combines games, crafts, activities, music and DVD dramas to create a fun atmosphere where children feel comfortable and accepted and learn about God’s love.

 

Mom’s Time Out: A Program for Moms of All Ages! February 6 – April 3

Are you wishing someone would put you in timeout?  Well now you can be in Time Out and Have Fun!

Mom’s Time Out is an exciting program designed to help moms learn how to not just survive motherhood but how to thrive while being a Mom!  Come and enjoy a morning out (childcare provided) while meeting new friends and taking part in creative activities.  Each week will feature a speaker who will encourage you with an inspirational message or educational talk on relevant issues in our lives as moms.  The morning will also include delicious homemade snacks.

Senior Homes Ministries:

At Queenston Place a monthly Sunday evening hymn sing is led by Pastor Ron and Lee Bergstrom to encourage the residents, remembering the Lord and His goodness through singing and a brief devotional.  As well, Pastor Goode leads a hymn sing with the residents once a month on Wednesdays.

(Currently on hold) At Chateau Gardens in Niagara-On-The-Lake, a hymn sing, sharing, Bible-devotional and prayer time with residents who look forward to this weekly ministry as their “church.”

At Cavendish Manor a weekly Bible study takes place among residents, led by Murray Johnston, assisted by a team who help lead music and visit with residents.

At Fair Haven Senior Apartments a weekly Bible Study is held for residents, led by Pastor Ron Bergstrom.
