God’s Design for Intimacy

Design for Intimacy: In the current “redesign” of genders, sexuality and roles, social-scientists are seeking a sexual freedom through re-education techniques from early childhood through to adulthood. Almost every social programming method available: TV, movies, internet, social-media, education, social services and government, undermine the design of God for human intimacy, marital union and family stability.

Sexuality and its freedoms are flaunted without regard for design. What should be seen as obvious and sensible is dismissed as traditional gender and role programming. What the people of God have failed to safeguard, our culture has thrown to the wind.

Yet what God designed for intimacy—with Himself and each other, we desperately need to recapture, believe, practice and transmit. How we are made, male and female, says a lot about God’s creative design, our need for intimacy, and God’s plan to make us holier, happier and healthier!
