Prayer Meeting – Bible Study

Prayer together is so needed–drawing on His wisdom and seeking His direction for our lives personally and together; for our health and enabling as a congregation, and mostly that God would show His glory to us and through us as we kneel before Him in prayer.

Whether you like to pray out loud or not, praying together is important, and part of the spiritual “armour” we have as a congregation.

Prayer is our opportunity to speak together to the Lord about everything… to understand that faith is an “all or nothing” white-knuckled grasp on to God, and to realize that we can’t properly do life without Him and His resources.

Is there something God is challenging you to “step out of the boat” about right now, to trust Him through prayer and by faith?

When Peter faced that challenge and everything in him wanted to trust the Lord Jesus, in spite of obvious obstacles, Jesus simply said, “Come“.

The One who walked on water can help us do the same, rather than let us drown in our difficulties.

So… let’s “Come” together, starting June 6, 6:30 – 8:00 PM in the Fellowship Room.

Lifted together in song, challenged by study of God’s Word, we will move to prayer for one another, for God’s powerful working among us, for His glory to be seen in our city and beyond!
